Uncurbable Cravings is Craving – Royal Organic English Breakfast!

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

Have you ever let a bag of tea sit in your cup for an extended period time? The flavor can get pretty concentrated, sometimes even bitter, right? This has happened to me with green tea and especially black teas. I usually have to steep for the recommended amount of time that is stated on the bag if I want the tea to taste palatable. I’ve found that with Village Tea Co.’s Royal English Breakfast Tea, I can really let the tea steep and steep and the tea never has that bitter taste! It may be “dark and delicious, brisk and bold,” but at the same time, it still tastes yummy and mellow to me.

The Caffination Podcast Reviews Village Tea

When people see the CaffiNation they assume I only drink Coffee. I love coffee, but I also tend to drink my fair share of tea as well. Not only do I enjoy a good cup of tea i think bad tea is worse by far than bad coffee.

I was approached about reviewing the Village Tea Company’s Rooibos. Specifically the Cherry Me Bloom Rooibos with Acai. First order of business with anything new is to check up on what all the fun words mean and apparently this tea like so many others is full of antioxidants and other bits of healthy goodness. Selling points of health marketing aside I wanted to know how it tastes!
